Paint Correction/Machine Polishing

2 Stage Paint Correction

16 hrs£600

Paint correction is a process used to restore the original finish of a vehicle’s paintwork by removing imperfections such as swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation. This is typically achieved through a combination of polishing compounds and specialized tools that refine the paint’s surface. The goal is to enhance the vehicle’s appearance, providing a glossy, smooth finish that looks brand new. Paint correction can significantly improve the aesthetics and value of a car, making it a choice for automotive enthusiasts and detailers alike.

Would you believe us if we told you cars come full of decontamination and swirl marks from the showroom? This is due to them being transported across Europe on trains etc bringing plenty of iron fillings with them, and the swirl marks come from dealership valeters who take zero care of the fresh paint, they get paid peanuts per car so obviously they’re all about volume.

Expected results: An extremely glossy mirror like finish, wish 99% of minor defects removed in the process.

New Car Detail

8 hrs£500

WHY DOES A NEW CAR NEED DETAILING?

Typically, you would’ve thought a brand new vehicle should be flawless from interior to exterior but unfortunately this is rarely the case, and over the years we have witnessed an array of defects present in brand new cars. Defects such as paint over spray, sanding marks and buffer trails can occur due to the storage conditions, packaging and poor preparation of the car prior to delivery or collection.

Many dealerships now provide their own protection packages claiming to offer the best coatings on the market to your paintwork, unfortunately most people will pay way over the odds for this, its a dealership so they must be right, right? Wrong, they use cheap products, and spray on coatings that last merely months. Products from companies such as Guard X, DiamondBrite and Autoglym life shine are often upsold to customers but typically these products are applied poorly and rarely offer what you pay for them.

Ceramic Coating

1 hr£100

Ceramic coating is a chemical polymer that’s applied to the exterior of a vehicle creating a hydrophobic sacrificial layer which protects paint from swirl marks, bird etching, UV rays. Water and dirt won’t stick to the paint as easy meaning a longer lasting clean vehicle.

How it works:
Ceramic coating is applied as a liquid and cures to form a hard layer over the car’s paint. It’s made of silicon dioxide, which is often sourced from natural materials like quartz and sand. It’s completely clear so you can’t see it’s there, other than the major gloss boosting abilities.

1-7 Year options available starting from £100
Please contact directly to discuss options.

We strongly recommend machine polishing the paintwork prior to coating. The ceramic coating is protecting the vehicle from things your vehicle likely already has, you wouldn’t put a screen protector over cracked screen would you?

We will apply 1/2 year ceramic coating to newer vehicles without machine polishing if the paintwork is in decent condition.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. The trailer and full valeting setup were exactly as described and clearly built with plenty of thought and care. He took the time to explain how everything worked, helped me get it connected correctly and made sure I was happy before I left. A genuinely knowledgeable and helpful bloke who made the whole purchase easy. I couldn’t be happier with the setup and would recommend ImageAutomotive without hesitation. Five-star service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I booked a detail after seeing an advert on Facebook - contact was quick and easy, with a date / time arranged in under an hour.

On the day, arrived bang on time and got straight to work. Finished exactly when he said it would and the standard of work is brilliant.

Whilst my car wasn’t ‘horrendous’ it hadn’t been cleaned internally for over a year - but sitting in it now, it feels like new…every down to the feel of the steering wheel…little things!!

Absolute value for money and would recommend to anyone who wants some effort invested into their car and not just the ‘quick wash’

Really impressed with the job on my Golf. It was pretty dirty, especially around the wheels and the interior, but after having the Deep Clean Plus it looks like a different car.

Communication was excellent from start to finish. Everything that was included was explained clearly, and I always knew what was being done. The customer service was spot on too – friendly, professional and easy to deal with.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get their car a good proper clean.
